Der Kern des Vorschlages zur Landschaftsarchitektur besteht aus der Reparatur / Rekomposition / Reorganisation des bestehenden Wegesystems mit dem Ziel, das Gebäude zum Hauptakteur des größeren Parkgeländes zu machen. Diese Klärung des Orientierungssystems soll für die Besucher einen intuitiven Zugang in den Park herstellen und sie selbstverständlich von einem Punkt zum nächsten führen. Der Solitär des neuen Gebäudes liegt im Herzen einer großen Wegeschleife, die sich zur City und in die Nachbarschaft im Osten hin öffnet und im Westen des Parks an die große Liegewiese anschließt.

Beide Museen liegen auf einem gemeinsamen Sockel, der symbolisch aufgeteilt ist, um den Bereich der beiden Institutionen zu markieren. Café-Terrassen und alle möglichen Outdoor-Programme lassen sich auf dem großen Teppich versammeln, gleichzeitig sorgt dieser auch für eine gute fußläufige Verbindung um das Gebäude herum und hindurch. Das neue Gebäude landet sanft auf einem Hügel, der das alte Plateau zitiert und einen einfachen Zugang aus jeder Richtung erlaubt. Eine besondere Aufmerksamkeit wird den bestehenden Bäumen gewidmet, die ausnahmslos in das Landschaftskonzept integriert werden.

The core of the landscape architecture proposal consists of the repair / recomposition / reorganization of the existing path system while making the building the main actor of the larger park area. This clarification of the orientation system is intended to create intuitive access to the park for visitors, leading them naturally from one point to the next. This solitary new building – located in the heart of a path network – opening onto the city and neighborhood to the east and connecting to the large meadow to the west of the park.

Both museums sit on a common pedestal, symbolically divided to mark the area of the two institutions. Café terraces and other outdoor programs can gathers on the large carpet, that simultaneously provides a pedestrian connection around and through the structure. The new building lands gently on a hill echoing the old plateau, allowing easy access from any direction. Special attention is given to the existing trees, integrated, without exception, into the landscape concept.
